I am a compassionate and highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing holistic mental health care. With over 30 years of experience in the field, I specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and substance use disorders.

I am passionate about creating individualized treatment plans that integrate psychotherapy, medication management, and lifestyle interventions to promote long-term mental wellness. Known for building strong therapeutic relationships, I empower patients to take an active role in their recovery journey.

After earning a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), with a focus on psychiatric mental health care, I have provided care to individuals with a wide variety of mental health challenges, in the hospital, outpatient clinic, and via telehealth. I stay current with evidence-based practices through continuing education and membership in professional organizations, such as the Neuroscience Education Institute.

Outside of practice, I have been an advocate for healthcare policy both locally, and in Washington, DC. I use my voice to reduce stigma and raise awareness about mental health issues. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to live music, reading, and going for walks, which helps maintain personal balance and resilience.
